I make my bed everyday, truly, I do. Every day. Most days you wouldn’t know it from looking at the mess. Dave’s cat Monica likes to burrow under the bedspread which pulls it around and leaves a bunch of wrinkles when she leaves.
Marvin likes to sit on my pillow. She sits on my pillow during the day and contemplates life.
At night Marvin likes to sit on my pillow and s-t-r-e-t-c-h back and roll onto my head. That pushes me over (in order to avoid cat in the face) and I roll over.
That gives room for George to plop on my lap. Or my legs. Or my foot. That means it’s time to move around to get comfy. George likes to read when he’s not sleeping.
During the night Billy Bob comes in and lays along my side. Usually I wake up with about 9 inches for my legs because that’s all the space he leaves.
Of course Monica likes to sleep with Dave. She bats at his face and paws at the covers until he picks up the blankets and lets her under. Then she gets back up, turns around and comes back. When she’s done annoying Dave she comes over and paws at my face, does the whole under the covers/get up/turn around/ rinse and repeat.
During the day we have at least one cat on the bed and sometimes two or three and at night we have up to four. We are outnumbered!
