Yesterday morning I looked out the back window and saw this beautiful view of mist raising from the Kalamazoo river valley a mile away to cover the trees and most of the field behind our house. The spiderwebs sparkled with raindrops and the faint misty sunshine.
Everything looked shrouded in haze except the spiderwebs.
They looked like big white blossoms from the back porch. Turning south, the side yard looked pretty too. the white crab tree outshone the spiderwebs.
A few minutes later the wind blew away all the raindrops, hiding the spiderwebs and leaving the field empty of sparkle.
